Journal entry
Looking out my window, watching the sun rise and the mist between the hills hovering with a cotton softness, I look down and see the sparkles of life. Tiny crystals of pure light shiver with the wind, each attached to a transparent green blade stemming from the ground. Birds dip in and out of the forrest of crystals, poking their fidgety heads towards the ground, finding some sort of satisfaction from the stems and dirt. The warmth and light from the sun caress my face and body, and as it shifts upward, with my eyes closed, it appears as if it is becoming closer, brighter, warmer and its familiar hug releases my menagerie of thoughts running through my brain. Ah, the mornings, the fresh beginnings of each day are a reminder of why we were made, to walk in the garden with God.
